Two Pilots Escape Major Crash

Two men are lucky to be alive after their aircraft experienced technical difficulties. News sources say that both were able to safely eject themselves before the high performance craft crashed into an apartment building. However, six people in the apartment building were injured as a result of the crash. Reports indicate that the aircraft burst into flames upon impact, setting fire to three buildings and destroying over 40 apartments in the process.

The two pilots were on a training mission when they realized that something was wrong with the aircraft. Knowing that they would not be able to land the Hornet in time, they were forced to evacuate and abandon the plane. Upon landing near a home, one pilot was heard apologizing for the crash in his dazed state. At this time, all of the victims have been released from the hospital except for the pilot. He is not believed to have suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash.
