Two Tractor Trailers Collide

Police were called to the scene of a truck accident last week in the state of Delaware that involved not just one, but two tractor-trailers.

Police reports show that one truck driver, a 45-year-old man from South Carolina, rear-ended another truck driven by a 57-year-old man. The first driver sustained serious injuries, including lacerations to his face and fracture to his right leg. Luckily, the second driver did not report any injuries even though his truck was pushed about 36 feet as a result of the impact.

The South Carolina man was brought to a nearby hospital to be treated for his injuries. He was later cited by police for inattentive driving. An oil leak from the truck accident forced emergency road crews to shut down several lanes to clean up the wreckage.
