Two Fireman Hurt During Truck Accident

Two firemen were injured when their vehicle was involved in a truck accident.

According to state troopers, the fire and rescue truck was heading back from a call when a pickup truck failed to stop at a red light. As a result, the pickup truck crashed into the fire truck at full speed. The two firefighters were injured but did not sustain life-threatening injuries. Both were transported to a nearby hospital.

The driver of the second vehicle sustained just minor injuries. He was charged with failure to stop at a red light; additional charges could come upon further investigation of the truck accident.
