Two deaths in Edgefield County, South Carolina were confirmed by the county coroner. A car accident left Ryan Craven, 26, and Ryan McNeal, 23, dead near Gregory Lake Road and Martintown Road. The two were traveling from North Augusta.
According to investigators with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 10:40 p.m. about 16.5 miles south of Edgefield.
Craven had been driving a 2002 Lexus going east on Gregory Lake Road when it ran off the road, struck a pine tree, and overturned. Both men were ejected from the vehicle. At this time, investigators are still looking into possible causes of the car accident.
