Wood chips left scattered at a Wal-Mart store caused one man to slip and fall, and now he wants the big store to pay.
George Rawlings of Texas filed a lawsuit on Feb. 18 stating that while shopping in the Wal-Mart at 9451 FM 1960 Bypass in Humble, he slipped and fell on woodchips left on the floor. At that time, he had been following a store employee throughout the Wal-Mart. As a result of that stores negligence to clean up the chips Rawlings is now seeking courts costs and damages.
