In a strange turn of events a husband is suing his wife for the wrongful death of their son.
Lloyd Rochester, 29, is suing wife Stephanie Rochester, 34, after she killed their infant son because she believed him to be autistic. She has already been charged with first-degree murder and child abuse for the suffocation of her 6-month-old son, Rylan. Rochester told police that she smothered her son because she didn't think that she and her husband could handle having an autistic child.
Her lawyers advised her to enter a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity. Not surprisingly Lloyd has filed for divorce from his wife.
