Family members in North Carolina recently learned that a close loved one of theirs was involved in an auto accident that may have been caused after she had a heart attack. News sources say that the 64-year-old did not survive the collision. According to the police report, C.R. was heading north on a local road when her heart suddenly stopped. She lost control of her vehicle and drove straight on into a vehicle in the opposing lane. Reports indicate that the driver of that vehicle was uninjured. The responding officers noted extensive damage to the drivers' side ends of both vehicles but almost no damage to the passenger sides.
The report went on to state that C.R. was less than half a mile from her own home when the accident happened. An autopsy conducted by the medical examiner following the crash ruled the death as natural.
